Earth is Complaining

"There is a secret cave of spirits in Tibet. This cave is not known to the public.
The tibetan saints are sleeping in this cave. The oldmen and monks are saying that Shiva is starting to sing his mantra calling for Gods to return to the Earth. This mantra has three levels. The last level means the coming of the new era.
Listen to this sound recorded by russian enthusiasts who were allowed to visit the place near the cave where it was possible to record the sound.
This sound has no artificial changes and is presented in raw format (only noises were reducted).
Liste and post your comments and feelings."

Illusions

Do you believe that your eyes tells the truth? Well, I got news for you; they don't. This video is a great example of what a human being can do to fool you, fool your eyes and your mind. So, what else are we missing, what do we see really?
The physical eye is limited so don't rely on it, only...

Colors Of The Wind

"You think you own whatever land you land on
The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim
But I know every rock and tree and creature
Has a life, has a spirit, has a name

You think the only people who are people
Are the people who look and think like you
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger
You'll learn things you never knew you never knew"

Nothing is Absolute

What do we know? I think it's nothing really. We cannot be certain about anything at all, so why are we even trying? We can often appear to be certain and convinced about things, and I believe that it is grounded on fear. Fear of being rejected if you don't know nothing.
If somebody ask you if you want a cup of coffee and you answer: "Yes, please!" Can you be certain that it is you that wants that coffee, or is it because he/she asked you? Would you have been longing for coffee if he/she hadn't been asking you? Do you really like coffee, or is it just learned? Did you say "yes" because you wanted to be polite? If he/she also had been offering you tea, would you have selected coffee then?
Even a simple question like that isn't easy to be certain about. Our answers are often with regard to the other and the circumstances, not because we're assured about anything. Most of our answers and even thoughts are probably learned.

Integrate Good & Bad

"You grow up the day you have your first real laugh - at yourself." - Ethel Barrymore

I really resonate with this quote. This is one of the biggest challenges of human beings, to not take oneself so darn seriously. When we're born we don't know what perfection is, we don't really know what perfection is now either. If I could redefine the word perfection it would be something like this:
Perfection is to be yourself with your ups and downs, with your shortcomings and your good sides without trying to hide them, just accepting them as a part of yourself and integrate them into one. To not separate good from bad, and to realize that they're one - a whole.

Mother Nature's Resources

Blogs, Facebook, Forums etc. Our world's foundation is relying on something that is very fragile: media and internet, or even more fragile: electricity. What are our chances when the electricity strikes out? They're not so big.
We need to start living a more balanced life and get back to our true nature. We can't rely on money, electricity and the government. You don't need to look far to see how a natural disaster effects a whole country, just look at Japan; what can the government do? They are just human beings.
A good idea is to as much as possible become self-sufficient; grow your own vegetables is a great example. I believe that food and other things that we are dependent on is going the get more and more expensive and less available.
We can't live in luxury anymore, it's crucial for us to start using Mother Nature's resources.

Message Hopi Nation 2011

Message from the Hopi nation
If you click here you'll get to a beautiful video which contains the message from the Hopi nation. I believe that it's time for us to listen to them and other human beings that carries with them wisdom.
We're too blinded by our desires, we've gone from need to desire and desire has become greed. We need to begin living a more balanced life and reflect on how we act and why, if you haven't already begun.

The time is now, be in the know.

Loss of Water Accident

“…So here you have a spent fuel pool with not the contents of what one nuclear plant has but spent fuel from over the years. So, it’s not a thousand more radioactivity than the Hiroshima bomb, it could be tens of thousand more radioactivity than the Hiroshima bomb. The scenario is; the water is out, the zirconium gets hotter and hotter, they explode, there is no containment just a corrugated steel roof, it all blows out and you would have a dark cloud moving with the winds which are incidentally blowing from the west to the east. Some of it would fall out over the pacific and some of it would hit where you are…” Karl Grossman

We Will Climb

Here is a poem I wrote today that I want to share with you:
Lives are changing, poles are shifting
Sitting here while waves are drifting
Animals and people, they are dying
and I can feel their spirits flying
Love and light is all we need
The other aspects will mislead
We can not escape this shift
because it is a necessary lift
We have chosen to live this time
Higher in awareness we will climb

Japanese Science Fiction

Watching Japan right now is like watching a science fiction movie. For me, it is so hard to grasp. I feel that my brain is limited in the understanding of the whole situation. Here I am in one of the safest places on the earth, writing on my blog while people are looking for their relatives in ruins... And therefore I ask myself, why was I born here and what are my responsibilities? I do not believe that I'm just "lucky". I'm, and many others, are protected for a reason and let's make the best out of it!

The Mundane

I have noticed that whatever I'm doing I am looking forward for something else; the evening, the next day, the next weekend, the next season, the next TV show etc. Why is it so hard to live in the now? Planning and structuring every ounce of our time is killing our creativity and our joy of life. Looking forward for something and when you're finally there, you're looking for something else; so what is it really that you are looking for? because it isn't that one moment...

Ra Uru Hu once said: "It is here, in this life, on the mundane plane, the basic things; friends, family, love - all of those things - it is the day to day, it is whatever the world is for each and every one of us.
I look out to the communality of humanity and I see the potential of extraordinary uniqueness and that extraordinary uniqueness does not need to live that out in some kind of drama because you see, the mundane is so rich. It is full of all the drama that you will ever need. It's perfect. I think awareness is ordinary, I think it's a basic right for human beings to be aware. And in that awareness, everything that you touch in your life is enriched."

Shock of Death

Shock. For me these days have been filled with shock, good and bad, and it have made me realize that life is full of surprises. It's wonderful really.
Death. How can we say, as human beings that a death is shocking? If you think about it.. what is it that is so shocking with death? When did we learn to deny death as a part of life? If we think about it as a part of life a great deal of sadness will disappear. I thought about this after I wrote the post about Ra. Death isn't shocking. How could it be?
We can die now, in a minute, in an hour, in a day, in a week, in a month or in a year. If you know that, shock of death doesn't exist.

School Kills Creativity

Yes, our school system is based on a whole different kind of era and it is not adjusted for the kids going there. Children do not think in the terms that school teaches us to, they learn to think that way.
I watched Sir Ken Robinson on swedish television (Skavlan) today and he really inspired me. He told this story:
A little girl was in a drawing class and they normally didn't have drawing classes at the school. In this drawing class this girl that normally was paying attention wasn't and was completely absorbed in what she was doing. The teacher went over to her, she was just curious and asked: "What are you drawing?" and the little girl said: "I'm drawing a picture of God" and the teacher said: "But nobody knows what God looks like?" and the girl said: "They will in a minute."
We need to return to this creativity and the confidence that we have as children that we loose as adults.

Pureness

Cecilia Ristilae 2011 - Nikon D90
When we read, hear or talk about things, what do we really understand? I don't think that it is much.
We take things in through our own filter and that filter is filthy - if you really think about it; it's not your filter anymore. It once was but it has been going through a lot of people and their opinions. You're simply conditioned by life!
Through our life journey we have to clean that filter and return to our power, to our pureness.

Between the Lines

Read between the lines, everything is not literally - if it was we would have been locked into our minds forever. No possibility to get out what so ever. Freedom is to think for yourself but are we really doing that or do we just believe so? I mean we're all shaped by our environment. What thought is our own? Is there any? or is everything learned and then repeated in different shapes?
These days everything have to be proved scientifically and as soon as some authority claims something to be in a certain way it's accepted. Have you ever wondered why it is like that? Well, science is based on the beliefs of wealthy people because they can afford the research and therefore they benefit from the studies. Some things simply remains undiscovered because it doesn't favors the ones who can pay for it. Simple as that.

"Why" is the most powerful word in my opinion.

So Many Of Us Die Copies

Cecilia Ristilae 2011 - Nikon D90

I took this photo today and felt so thrilled about it so I wanted it to be the topic for today - not literally the bird but what it represents: Freedom
Freedom is something that we all should be able to choose but we're not. None of us, really. We are all trapped in the forms of something whether that is religion, society, family, school or whatever. We often have the illusion of being free but we're not. As soon as you step out of a stereotypcial box you're doomed to be the black sheep of society. You are simply rejected.
Edward Young once said: "We are all born originals - why is it so many of us die copies" and I do wonder, why is it so? Why is it so important to fit in? We're not alike and will never be, so why pretend?
To be unique is to not be controlled and if you can't be controlled you're a threat.

2012 - The Revolution Has Begun

"If you align your mind to fear then you are choosing to be a part of the old world, a world that is crumbling before our very eyes. Your thoughts effect the world in which you live."

Truism

Why are we treating our kids so bad? They are our future, they're the ones that are going to take care of us in the future. It's on them that the society is going to rely on, all structures will be based on them. What structure is there with the conditions we offer them? We help them build an unstable ground to stand on and if they do - we do. I can't see the logic.
Something that seems on the outside to be such a simple task to handle, really isn't. Everything is so complicated these days. If someone asked you: "If you saw a poor kid with no parents, no home, no nothing - wouldn't you want to help him/her?" You would probably reply: "Isn't that obvious?" or "Of course!" Well, it's easy to say so when you're not having to deal with the issues but when you're getting there it isn't that obvious anymore. Suddenly everything gets so complicated.
Why is that?
